Before establishing S-Consulting in 2023, Johan spent many years on the customer side of ERP, including serving as Business Application Manager for a JSE-listed company, where he was responsible for Syspro and a wide range of integrated business systems — giving him a practical understanding of both the technology behind ERP and the operational realities businesses face when implementing and improving these systems.
Johan holds an MBA from Stellenbosch University and combines his business and technical experience to help organisations improve processes, implement technology and get greater value from their ERP investment.
Through S-Consulting, he has led and supported complex Syspro projects across manufacturing, food and beverage, distribution, healthcare and engineering — with a particular focus on ERP implementation, business process improvement, integrations, automation and project delivery.
Johan believes successful ERP projects are ultimately about more than technology — they require an understanding of the business, strong relationships and a commitment to delivering practical solutions that work in the real world. His approach is grounded in three core values: integrity, respect and trust.
